INTRODUCTION
Anyone that desires to be a good Bible teacher can hardly feel complete until he has delivered a study on the Life of CHRIST. As all of you know, the dear Lord has given me the stewardship over some incredibly fine, consistently conservative, and God-honoring old booklets, pamphlets, and sermons from saints of yesteryear. Many of these authors are now at home with the Lord, and I imagine that as they lean over the parapets of Heaven - perhaps they thrill as they see their labors of love being reprinted to bless even another generation of Christians.
Some are grateful for the effort to bring these to your reading enjoyment, others consider them burdensome, never-ending studies. These studies constitute the years of much learning by those who walked in the shadow of the cross. These are the kind of Bible teaching that still recognized a verbal, plenary inspired Bible and were not ashamed to proclaim it's mighty truths.
To those of you who read, thanks from both myself and the one that originally had it in their heart to produce these masterpieces of Scriptural Knowledge. To those who don't - why not lay aside your predisposition towards me and just let GOD bathe you in His presence and abiding love. To those of you who won't - may I say that there simply is no excuse for your continuance in abject ignorance when presented with such learning at your fingertips - at no cost whatsoever. I must wonder, will GOD hold you accountable for the things you might have done - had you only learned the lessons?
This book is the out-of-print, uncopyrighted work, entitled, "The Life and Teachings of CHRIST," by Myer Pearlman, circa. 1930. I send it forth for CHRIST's approval, and your edification. May we continue to grow and be nurtured in the grace of our Lord JESUS CHRIST as we investigate His life, His story, or the true History.
Limitations of space forbids a detailed consideration of all the words and deeds of CHRIST. We shall therefore confine ourselves to the high points, tracing the development of His ministry and describing the great crises of His life.
Instead of using a microscope, so to speak, to scrutinize minutely, we shall use the telescope to view the "mountain peaks" of the life of the Master.
