RICHARD C. HALVERSON
Dr. Richard Halverson, the author of Prologue to Prison is a minister of GOD and one who is filled with a driving and dedicated purpose of bringing the Gospel of CHRIST to as many people in as many lands as he is able.
His travels include eleven trips to the Orient in university evangelism work, Pastors Conferences in Korea, Japan, Formosa, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indo-China, Indonesia, Burma, India, Thailand, Ghana, Malaya and Singapore as an associate of Dr. Bob Pierce, President of World Vision Incorporated.
Dr. Halverson earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Wheaton College. After completing his graduate work at Princeton Theological Seminary, Wheaton College bestowed upon him the decree of Doctor of Laws.
Now at the nation's capital in Washington, D.C., Dr. Halverson conducts the ministry of the fourth Presbyterian Church and has presided there since 1958. From 1947 to 1956 Dr. Halverson was Minister of Leadership Education at the First Presbyterian Church in Hollywood and from there became Associate Executive Director, International Christian Leadership, Incorporated, Washington, D.C.
