"Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding" (Proverbs 23:23)

BECAUSE our gracious Lord has so blessedly used stories of His grace which I have published in other books, I feel encouraged to issue this group of stories. Sometimes the relating of the experiences of another will enable a troubled heart to find the remedy for the grief and sorrows which are engulfing it.

The incidents which are related in this book are the personal experiences of the writer. It is with great joy that I can testify to the definite leading of the Spirit in the great business of finding and helping souls and to the present power of the Gospel in bringing believing souls to the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is a wide variety of cases presented in this volume. Soulwinners will find help in carefully observing the different ways in which the Lord dealt with different souls. All are not reached in the same manner. Each case was diagnosed before the remedy was applied. The portion of God’s Word used in each instance was indicated by the diagnosis. The results are herewith presented.

Let me urge soulwinners everywhere to be good listeners so that they may know what is transpiring in the heart of the subject. Consider carefully every aspect of the Gospel, for it is not known beforehand just what part of the precious Word the Spirit will use in revealing the Lord Jesus Christ to the soul.

May God bless these messages and illustrations to the heart of each reader.
